Christine Kane wrote an awesome post on a topic that no one *ever* covers in the online sphere: How To Deal With a Bad Day. We all have those days where you just want to curl up under the covers and tell the world to fuck off. I particularly like Christine’s suggestion to temporarily lower your expectations, because that cycle of self hate when you can’t live up to your goals is deadly.
And Michelle Ward wrote a hard hitting post on another approach to the bad day – taking control of your own life and where you’re planning to go. What’s Going To Happen To You? None of us can see into the future, but if you’re not willing to own your goals, I can guess at where you might end up.
And while I haven’t read all of this, I’m interested to see where it goes. Judith Morgan, a serial entrepreneur and polymath who I admire quite a bit, has started telling her life story. Several chapters of it are up, but given the week’s emphasis on food and waterborne diseases, I haven’t been able to read more than the first post. (I am *so* looking forward to finishing this seminar today…)
Told you it was a quiet week… Have a passion filled weekend, and I’ll be back on Tuesday!
